Release notes for version 2.3 (august 2000)

1. Improved deleting process uses shell dialogs and works well with
   Windows 2000 and NT
2. New installation procedure includes uninstaller and sets up
shell integration (see below, version 2.1 item 5).

Release notes for version 2.2 (june 1998)

1. Now supports all filesystems including FAT32 and NTFS up to terabytes
(i.e. 64 bits arithmetic. The limitations mentioned below under
   Version 2.1 no longer exsist).
2. Ability to overrule clustersize when necessary.
3. Faster! Although already the fastest, Disk Piecharter now has become
   some 10% faster
4. Decreased memory usage, up to 50%!
5. Saves and restores window geometry.

Release notes for version 2.1a

Bugfix: statusbar now gives more correct information when moving mouse cursor
over file-segments.

Release notes for version 2.1

Added features:

1. Windows NT compatibility
Disk Piecharter now works with Windows NT 3.51 or higher.
2. Large Harddisk support
In NT, there are practically no limits to the size of disks
   Disk Piecharter can handle.
In Windows 95, there is a limit of 2 GB for disk partitions, implied
   by Windows itself.
With network drives > 2GB, Disk Piecharter will 'do the best it can'.
Though Windows 95 does not report the disksize (and free space) properly,
Disk Piecharter will, by summing up all filesizes, attempt to give a
reasonable result. It will issue a warning message saying that the results
   are somehow estimated.
3. Clipboard copy
Upon requests from several users this feature was added. The copy
is of the Enhanced Metafile type, and can be imported in most word
   processors, drawing software etc.
4. By adding a drive letter in the commandline (of a shortcut) you can
have Disk Piecharter startup with a preselected drive.
5. Shell integration: you can add Disk Piecharter to the context-menu of
disk drives and/ or directories. To get this working, do the following:
From Windows Explorer, select View/Options... and select the File Types
tab. Then browse to the 'drive' icon. Click 'Edit'. In the 'Actions'
field below, click 'New'. In the 'Action' field, enter the name you want
to call it, e.g. 'Piechart...'. In the Application field, enter the path
and filename to dskpie95.exe. That's it!

Release notes for version 2.0:

First standalone, 32 bits Windows 95 version.

Known problems:

In Windows NT, when using NTFS, there sometimes are problems with removing
directories.
