Directory Reporter

This program will allow you to list out the contents of a specified Directory or Drive.
It will list all directories, subdirectories and files under the specified directory.

Directory Reporter has the ability to include or exclude files from the listing based on the file extension.

Once the listing is created, it can be saved as a text file for later use and/or be printed as a report.

This is the initial version of this program, so if you find any bugs or problems you can email them to awaller377us@yahoo.com.

This is Shareware which means you may try it for free, but if you find it useful and would like to keep it you need to register it.

To register, Send $10.00 US in the form of a US money order or Check drawn on a US bank in US funds or cash (at your own risk) to the following address:

Directory Reporter Registration

Support for issues with the program.

Reduced or free upgrades to future versions (if minor upgrade for bug resolution will be free otherwise will be reduced).

Support the concept of Shareware.

Thanks for trying Directory Reporter

Some notes on the program:

If you run the program over a LAN to list the contents of a LAN drive or folder, the program may take a very long time to create the list depending on the speed of the network. The program will handle it, it just may take a long time to create the list.

The print preview is not a full fledged print preview, it is more to give you an idea of the layout of the report and how many pages you will be printing. It does not give you zoom in zoom out capabilities etc for viewing the pages.

When including or excluding file types, only the file names will be printed on the list and the report, the directories and sub directories will not be listed.

If for some reason the program is interrupted (i.e. you end task the program) you will most likely need to reboot to ensure all aspects of the program function properly, especially printing. If you crash the program or abnormally end it and then try to print it probably won't work, in which case you need to reboot and then it should work.
