License: This program is freeware, and may be freely distributed by any party.
Please distribute the .zip file intact, without modifications to the
contents. You may rename the .zip file, if necessary.

Purpose: Keep track of changes to your hard drive's file contents.

This is accomplished by creating reports which save your Window
Explorer's current contents. These reports can then be compared
to discover file or path modifications, deletions or additions.

Installation:
   1. Use Winzip or PKzip to decompress (or unzip) the .zip file you downloaded.
   2. Run "setup.exe" by clicking it twice in the windows explorer, or
let winzip start it for you.
   3. An installation process will begin. Follow the instructions.

System: Win 95

This is a 32-bit program. Please do not try to run it under
   Windows 3.1 or earlier.

Features:

   1) Create a new report. This will layout the current Windows Explorer.
   2) Display an old report.
   3) Compare any 2 reports in any of these four ways:
       A. A simple display of both reports on the screen at once.
       B. A list of all files which are in the earlier report, but
absent from the later report. (Files deleted)
       C. A list of all files which are in the later report, but
absent from the earlier report. (Files added)
       D. A list of all files which were modified between the times
          the two reports were taken.

Disclaimer:

Other subdirectories created by the program:

wxrports -- this subdirectory will be created off of whatever directory
the program files are in. It will hold the windows explorer
                reports that this program creates.

Other files created by this program:

Each report created will be kept in a file under subdirectory FMRPORTS.

The naming convention will be dow_mmm_dd_yyyy___hh_mm_ss.hst

There is no option for the user naming these files.
