Compound Solutions is pleased to announce the availability of the release 3.0 of CompoundIt! which can be downloaded from

http://yourpage.suscom.net/tbalaban/cs/cpi3.zip.

Release 3.0 is a 32 bit Windows application. It will run on Win95 and newer. There are two versions of CompoundIt! 3.0; Standard and Professional. The Standard Version features all of the capabilities of Release 2 plus:

1. Copy or Print Data Fields - The ability to print the data entry parameters or copy them to the clipboard and then paste them into another program. This feature is enabled when the answer field is showing. (The answer field is that field showing in a different color - Yellow in Version 2.0 and Lime Green in the default version of Version 3 -See #3 below.)

2. Set the default Settlement Date - Under the file menu, settings, you can now set the default T+ calculation for the Settlement Date. The default is the standard T+3. But you can now have CompoundIt! startup with any T+ value from 0 to 99. Please note that the default Settlement Date will almost always be a business day. (Some floating holidays have not been defined in the program.)

3. Set the Field colors - Users can now set up there own color scheme. CompoundIt! defaults to yellow text on black fields with red text if the answer is valid. Left clicking a color sets the text color and right clicking set the background. The background color is the same for both normal and answer fields.

4. Date Calculations - Calculates the number of days in both actual/actual and 30/360 day count methods.

The Professional Version includes:

1. The Mark Up/Concession (MU/C) field which adjusts the price to reflect the value (decimal) in this field. If you're calculating a yield the price entered is adjusted by the MU/C before making the yield calculation. If you're calculating a price, it is adjusted by the MU/C after making the price calculation.

2. Total Ticket Calculations - computes and displays all information relevant to a ticket including all details of the bond, par amount, purchase price, accrued interest, and total ticket. This information can be copied to the clipboard or printed. This feature is available when a valid answer field is showing.

3. Purchase Max Calculations - computes the maximum face amount of a bond that can purchased using fixed amount of available funds and displays all information relevant to a ticket including all details of the bond, par amount, purchase price, accrued interest, and total ticket. This information can be copied to the clipboard or printed. This feature is available when a valid answer field is showing.
