ReadMeFast.txt 

 This is the Windows version of the JDicViewer . This application was written in Java , and can therefore be launched from a Windows platform.


Usually Internet Explorer (version 3 or more ) have already installed a Java Virtual Machine on your computer and all you have to do is  :

1	-UNZIP the file  JDicomViewer.zip .

	You will have the following files		

	1-AppClasses.zip : the Application package
	2-ImageDicom a dicom image sample for testing.
	3-logo.jdv a ressource file ( for the splash screen at start-up
	4-ReadMeFast.txt the file that you are actually reading.
	5-ReadMe.txt a file explaining the purpose of this application
	6-LisezMoi.txt the same file in french
	7-RunWithIE4.bat [double click here to launch the application]
	8-RunWithJre.bat[Requires the Sun JRE to be installed] 		

2	-Double click on the file RunWithIE4.bat.

3	If it does not works,

	 unzip the AppClasses.zip file, go to the AppClasses folder and double-click on the file RunWithIE.bat

4	If it still does not works, send me an e-mail

You can either :

If  there is no Java Virtual Machine on your computer , you  should  install the Java RunTime environnement from Sun MicroSytem  (JRE)  which is  very safe and easy to install  . Once installed you can  run the application by double Clicking on the file :

	RunWithJRE.bat
	
	[which contain the DOS command line :			]
	 [			jrew  -cp  SJDR.zip  MainClass		]
