2. Installation
======================================================

#   Requirements:

To use this software, make sure that the Visual Basic 6.0 RunTime files
are present in your \Windows\System\ directory (you have to find "msvbvm60.dll").
If not, you can get them in almost all magazines' CD-ROM, or in our Web page:
	http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/kpanos/Linkst.html

This program is made for Windows 95 /98
About 4 MB of memory needed.

#   Install:

If you get this program in a .zip file format, first you have to unzip the file.
Then run the Setup.exe and follow the prompts.

#   Uninstall:

Uninstall the program via Control Panel\Add-Remove programs option.


To run the image Tiler after the installation, simply run the Tiler.exe.




3. Release Notes

#   Description:

This software allows you to preview how image files will look when tiled.
The image Tiler, is a program made for those of us who have a large amount of graphic files and every 
time we need a background for a Web page or a project, we try almost every image in our libraries.
Now with new easy to use interface, without even having to write the HTML code you can preview how
images will appear on your Web pages' or as any other project's background.
The image Tiler is also a thumbnailer that will help you preview your image collections using thumbnails.

#   To use this software:

First of all, select the directory that contains the image files, by clicking the Browse button or 
simply by clicking a directory at the Folders tree.
If the directory you selected contains supported(*) image files you will see them in the Listview area.
The total amount of the files found, appears at the top of the Listview.
Click on any image file in the Listview to preview it at the Preview area.
The file's name and size, and the dimensions of the image appears at the Status bar.
Click the Preview window or double click the file to see the tiled image. Click inside Tiler to close the window again.

You can choose the types of the image files you will browse, in Options.
Use the Toolbox to test fonts and colors for Internet use and print (*) the tiled image. * (Registered version only)

#   Supported image files:

-Registered version -
The image Tiler supports True color, Bitmap (.bmp) , Jpeg (.jpeg) (.jpg) , Gif (.gif) , and Ico (.ico) files for tilling.
