             Table of Contents v2.0
          ****************************

Programmed by Andrew Duke (ajd@soton.ac.uk) in Borland Delphi.

Visit the Table of Contents (toc) web pages at:
 http://www.soton.ac.uk/~ajd/toc/

Description:
------------
Table of Contents creates framed HTML lists of local files.

Use Table of Contents to select your web directory, then hit
the 'AutoIndex' button. You can then clearly see your files
and directories, and can save them to a framed HTML page.
This means you can see all the your files in the left frame
and view their contents in the right frame. This makes for
easy browsing of HTML pages and graphics. You can specify
which types of file are indexed, the properties of your
frames and index, and alphabetically sort the entries. Just
what you need if you develop a lot of web pages.

Compatability:
--------------
TOC is a 32-bit Windows 95 / NT 4.0 executable. It will NOT run
under Windows 3.x with Win32s.

Installing Table of Contents:
-----------------------------
1. Simply unzip all files in the toc.zip pkzip archive into a new
directory, for example "c:\Table of Contents"
2. Then make a shortcut or start menu item for the executable
file - toc.exe
3. Don't worry if it takes ages for the splash screen to disappear,
this doesn't happen in the registered version.

Press a Help button at any time to load the help file.

To uninstall TOC just delete the contents of the directory you created,
as well as the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Table of Contents

Status:
-------
Table of Contents is NOT free, it is a SHAREWARE program.
Shareware means that you may download and freely distribute
the unregistered version, which may be used and evaluated
for a period of 30 days. After such time the program must
be registered or deleted from your computer. Shareware is
a distribution method, not a type of software. Shareware
has the ultimate money-back guarantee -- if you don't use
the product, you don't pay for it. The shareware system
and the continued availability of quality shareware products
depend on your willingness to register and pay for the
shareware you use. It's the registration fees you pay which
allow authors to support and continue to develop quality
products. Please show your support for shareware by
registering those programs you actually use.

Distribute the complete zip file freely, keep all files together.

Registration costs 10 UK Pounds or 20 US Dollars, details can be
found in the help file and on the web page.
