Release Notes for:

iSuck
v.2.0.1
February 12, 1999
__________________________________________________________

################# INSTALL: ###################################
iSuck.exe can be placed anywhere you wish...
No installation is included or needed. Just place wherever you want and
double-click on the "iSuck" icon, and away you go. It DOES, however,
require VB5 runtime files.

Display note: as of version 2.0, Windows LARGE and SMALL icons
are displayed for EACH icon "resource." These are always available in Win32
environment, but many older files and applications, and applications made by
developers who may be "graphically impaired" may only have made one size
of icon, and the Windowsx System SCALES the (usually larger) file down to size.
Because of this, many SMALL icos displayed look to be of poor quality.
That is because they ARE of poor quality. iSuck cannot help them.

As to the need for VB Runtimes...
This is true of all the applications at awdsites, as well as a multitude
of current and emerging programs available on the Web. The runtimes are
available free of charge from the MS FTP site, and also from the awdsites location at:

http://awdsites.com/library/zips/vb500a.zip

...Unzip, double-click to install, and you're ready for VB!

################ TO USE iSuck: #################################
Just double-click the iSuck icon and begin cruising your files for ICONS, be they in a DLL,
an EXE or ICO files by themselves. Scan directories such as Windows or Windows\System
looking at just DLLs or EXEs.
  If you're cruising blindly, try:
 Windows\System\Pifmng.dll
or
 Windows\System\Shell32.dll
Both are loaded, and hundreds more are on everyone's system. After you open one,
you can save any individual icon as a BMP or an ICO.
