Introduction:
============
Web TimeLog is a program for keeping track of on-line time and costs. It can keep track of multiple ISPs. The current version only handles dial-up connections. This is a Windows 95/98/ME program.

===================
Distribution
===================
Web TimeLog is shareware and owners of the full version are entitled to receiving future updates to Web TimeLog for free.

====================
System Requirements:
====================
Any Hardware running Win 95/98 /ME with DialUp Networking installed.
This version of Web TimeLog is only 330KB and consumes very little system resources. In fact it carries no additional libraries.

=============
Installation:
=============
If you have an earlier version of Web TimeLog, make sure it is closed before updating with this version.
Unzip WebTimeLog.zip into any temporary folder in drive C. Run Web TimeLog from there by clicking the webtime.exe file. Web TimeLog will create its own directory, install itself and by default, will run automatically whenever you start your computer.

==========
Operation:
==========
Web TimeLog runs conveniently in the system tray portion of the taskbar. Double-Clicking its icon will open Web TimeLog window. Whether hidden or not, it detects when you log onto the Internet. When you log off or when the connection is broken, it logs the logon and log off times. When you log off from a connection for the first time, it asks you to configure the account details for that connection(ISP).This is necessary for keeping track of costs.

Web TimeLog also features an alarm function. This allows a user to set a reminder as to how long they've been on-line. The alarm chimes after a preset period.
============
Future Plans:
============
These features will be available in up-coming versions:-
Ability to open and close programs automatically depending on whether you are on-line or not.
Ability to ping the ISP so as to keep the connection alive.
Ability to track uploaded and downloaded bytes.
Ability to display graphical info about the connections made.
Ability to set your system clock using the atomic clock on the Internet.
