 1. Introduction

Interscope InstallMaster is a setup generation tool, which provides users
with the ability to visually design and test setups to install any specific
application on Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0 platforms.

It has operating system, memory, processor, file/directory, registry and
display requirements checking, logical grouping of files in components,
install-time setup type selection, file versioning, strong encryption, smart
dependency checking, Start Menu and registry access and update, full uninstall
support, supports lots of media types for setup kit distribution including
self-extracting packages suitable for Web distribution and more.

The Lite edition will only allow creation of simple setups with a minimum
user interface and is suitable for deploying small apps and/or components.
Includes fully automatic uninstall feature. Only supports one (default,
 non-customizable) setup type.

 3. Usage

We tried to design Interscope InstallMaster in a way that using it will be
easy and enjoyable. Basically, you create a setup project, add your application's
files in it, edit the settings and then you can let InstallMaster to turn this
setup project into a fully functional setup kit that installs your application.

There is extensive help describing every feature in Intersope InstallMaster.
You can get help by going to the Help menu or by pressing F1 at any time. Also,
if you do not know what a button or checkbox does, you can simply find it out by
clicking on the question mark on the toolbar and then on the control in question.

When creating new projects, a step-by-step wizard will guide you through the basic
steps you can complete to successfully create a setup project. This way you can
have your own customized setup kit in minutes. You can also turn tis wizard off,
 if you like.
