WARNING:

This program works only with Microsoft Access 97

QUICK START:
------------
For easy installation of this program, please follow these steps:

Step 1. Install Polyglot
------------------------
1. Unzip the file mp98nl.zip
2. Double-click the MP98NL.exe file then follow the installation instructions. 

Polyglot 98 will be installed in your Microsoft Access directory. 
The following files are installed: 
	- Polyglot.mde is the add-in library database containing Microbus Polyglot.
	- A collection of html and gif files prefixed Polyglot_E_ 
	  contains the Microbus Polyglot documentation in the English language.
	- A collection of html and gif files prefixed Polyglot_F_ 
	  contains the Microbus Polyglot documentation in the French language.
	- A collection of accompanying text (.txt) files. 

Install will perform the necessary registry set-up and copy the Polyglot.mde 
database and all accompanying files in the Microsoft Access directory. 
After successfully completing the installation step, click the Finish button. 
You are now ready to start using Microbus Polyglot from any one of your 
Microsoft Access 97 applications. 

Step 2. Starting Polyglot
-------------------------
When you install Microbus Polyglot, the necessary registry entries are created 
for you so you can immediately start using Polyglot as a menu add-in. 

To start Polyglot from the add-in menu: 
	- Open your MS Access 97 application. 
 	- Choose the Access menu Tools - Add-ins - Polyglot. 
Microbus Polyglot opens its main window and 
its Dynamic Language Switching Bar. 
You can start using Polyglot now or close it to return to your application.

Getting Started with Microbus Polyglot
--------------------------------------
If you're not already familiar with Microbus Polyglot and the tools that are 
included in the product (such as the Code Table Tools), 
read through the Getting Started with Microbus Polyglot document. 
You can find this document by pressing F1-Help from the 
Polyglot Documents view and following the link to the Index. 

Verifying References
--------------------
To use Microbus Polyglot, your application needs a reference to 
the Microbus Polyglot Library. 
This reference is automatically created for you the first time you 
start Microbus Polyglot from the Access Add-ins menu. 
(See starting Polyglot above).
To verify that the necessary references exist, open your MS Access 
application and follow these steps: 
Open any module in Design view. 
Choose the Tools - References menu item. 
The list of installed type libraries should include:
	- Visual Basic for Applications
	- Microsoft DAO 3.5 Object Library
	- Microsoft Access 8.0 Object Library
	- Polyglot 
Check each of these references, if necessary. 
If Microbus Polyglot doesn't appear on your list, you can add it manually, 
choosing the Browse button and searching for POLYGLOT.MDE 
(although this item should appear on your list if you have already 
started Polyglot once as described below (Starting Polyglot). 
Choose the OK button, and you're ready to go.
