Some Installation tips and notes for mp3data v 1.2.30 +

The following files are required before MP3Data will run correctly, both these files
are available free from Microsoft.

Windows 95
Dcom 98 from http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom.asp
Mdac v2.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_250rtm.htm
Install Mdac_typ.exe
Install Dcom98 then Mdac_typ.exe
Install MP3Data

Windows 98, 98se,Me,2000
Mdac v2.5 from http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_250rtm.htm
Install Mdac_typ.exe
Install MP3Data

It is always a good idea to shut down all running programs prior to starting this install.

NOTE: This program was written forMP3's stored in the format:
	Drive:\Path\FolderName(category)\Artist-Title.mp3 or
	Drive:\Path\FolderName(category)\Title-Artist.mp3 (optional setting)

1-Playtime is an approximation based only on file size, different bitrates outside
of 128Kbps will report incorrectly. More accuracy pays a heavy price
	 in speed.(removed at v 1.2.33)
2-Allow duplicates what is it? This is to enables you to check a bunch of mp3's on
your hard drive for duplicates before burning to CD. This is usefull when
you have a few thousand mp3's and save them all on CD's as MP3 files.
3-ONcd I have been using as a check once I have converted to a .wav and made an audio CD.
4-Path is just that a pointer to where the MP3 is stored.

This Program is being distributed as shareware. It will register when you attempt your
first print. If you find any use in this database utility, please send $10.00 U.S.
($15Can) to
