1. Purpose
Shows finger positions of music Chords e.g. A-minor in both piano and guitar style.

2. Installation
Visual Basic runtime library is needed. The program was build with Visual Basic 6.0 on Windows98, both in English version.

Simply copy the chord.exe and run. If it is your first time to run Visual Basic program, you may need to copy VB6 runtime files into your WINxx\system32\ or appropriate directory.

The VB6 runtime files needed for this program can be found at
  this URL: http://www.simtel.net/simtel.net/win95/dll.html

Please download "simvb6-6.zip" (I guess) on the page.

Tabbed Dialog Control 6.0 (SSTab) is used. I am not sure tabctl32.ocx is on the download site. So, I attach it in my zip file. If something wrong saying like "tabctl is not found", copy the tabctl32.ocx into your WINxx\system32\ directory.

In the piano style, the key positions are displayed across two octaves for inversion.
In the guitar style, the corresponding positions are displayed up to the third fret. The positions are chosen by a simple mathematical rule, i.e. physical finger availability is not taken into account. Also, 'Do not play string(s)' is not considered. So the positions might be differ from the common usage.
