Use:

The Old School Playlist Maker is very
useful if you have an mp3 player that
does not support playlists. I have
the Raite AVPhile 715 and it doesn't
support playlists. I know there are
more out there just like it. It is
very annoying when you want to have
certain files played in a particular
order and these players don't support
that.

Well, The Old School Playlist
Maker solves the problem.

The way most of these players work is
they play files in alphabetical order.
So a file with the name "a.mp3" will
be played before "b.mp3". This is the
way my Raite plays them. So The Old
School Playlist Maker takes in a
playlist and renames the files so they
will be in alphabetical order and
therefore be played the way you specified
in the playlist. It does NOT modify the
actual mp3 files in any way. It just
renames them.

If there is a problem renaming any of
the files, The Old School Playlist Maker
generates a file called "output.txt"
with a short explanation of the error
that occurred.
