RioFile 1.1 February 1999: Windows 95/98

Not tested on NT4 but it should work.

To install, unzip into any folder. Run RioFile.exe to execute program.

PURPOSE

Use this program to select a random set of mp3 files to load into Rio memory.

The program lets you load files from a folder, from a folder and its subfolders, or from a m3u playlist. You can specify the maximum and minimum file size. You can specify folders to be loaded each time the program starts.

You can select a random sample of a specified size. If there are a few songs you want to load, you can select them manually, and then add randomly sampled files. There are actually two separate sample lists: one for the Rio main memory and one for external memory. When you select files randomly, the program ensures no songs are duplicated on either list.

You can save the resulting sample in three ways: copy links (shortcuts) to a specified folder, copying the actual files to a specified folder, or sending the files directly to a running Rio memory manager window as if you had drag/dropped them on that window.
