 What is Enigma?
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Enigma is a universal integrated development environment (IDE).

Enigma is an IDE with a difference. Like other IDEs, you can use Enigma
as a text and image editor and configure it to automatically feed text
files into your favourite compiler. The text editor includes syntax
colouring for C/C++, Java, HTML, Pascal, Basic, ASM and Fortran files.
Both the text editor and the image editor have multiple undo/redo
facilities as well as many other features you would normally expect
 in a good IDE.

The difference between Enigma and other IDEs is that you can also use
Enigma to create and edit resources (dialogs, multi-document interfaces
(MDIs), menus, tool bars, status bars....) on the fly. These become
Enigma add-ons. In this way you can create and release your own
 applications based on Enigma.

 Installing Enigma
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The executable (Enigma.exe) that goes with this readme file can run
 immediately without further installation.

To keep things tidy, you can put the extracted Enigma files in a separate
directory. You can also add the executable to the Start menu or
provide a short cut from your Desktop.

Enigma will automatically configure itself for products listed in the
file Products.ini, provided that the products are in their default
directories. The default directory is labelled "SubPath" in Products.ini.
