1. System Requirements
----------------------

 * Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP. (not yet tested on Windows NT)
 * Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime files (see below)
 * 800 x 600 screen resolution (or greater)
 * WINMM.DLL present (normally present on all Windows machines)

2. Installation
---------------
To install Robot Reconnaissance, simply run the RobotReconnaissance_setup.exe program and follow the instructions. 


3. Registration
---------------
The Full Version of Robot Reconnaissance requires registration. After registering:

 1. All 75 game levels will be accessible
 2. Levels written using the level editor will be transferrable
    to other machines.
 3. The number of moves that can be undone in the game
    will be increased from 5 to 100.
 4. Solutions can be played back.
 5. All upgrades are free.

Robot Reconnaissance is Shareware and must be purchased if you wish to access all the levels and capabilities of the game. The cost is just $9.95 and it can be done online by clicking on the "Buy Now" button found on the game's splash screen. Alternatively, you can go to our website:

4. Distribution
---------------
The unregistered, demo version of Robot Reconnaissance may be distributed freely in its original form as long as no files are added, deleted or modified from the original package. In addition, it MUST be distributed free of charge. If these conditions are met (and only if they are met), it can be distributed on CD-Roms, on the web, etc. Any type of distribution that does not meet the above conditions is expressly forbidden without prior consent and permission of the author.

What's new in version 1.3?

* now there are 75 levels
* game can now keep track of missions-completed statistics, saved games and game options for up to 12 different players.
* when saving a solution and a solution file already exists, you will be told how many moves are contained in the solution file that already exists.
* you can test/play a level directly from the editor.
* Font color on save/restore game screens are different to help avoid confusion.
* Enlarged "Load" screen (makes it easier and quicker to use).
* Editor "Load" screen now remembers last file that was edited.
* 'Buy Now' button added to the splash screen which will take user directly to ordering page on the web.
* new sound effect for exploding red crates.
* Bug Fix - fire pushed between 2 bombs was sometimes blowing up just 1 bomb instead of both bombs.
* minor visual enhancements to the user interface.
