Stations of the Cross, v6.0
===========================

Installing the program
======================
Statns60.EXE is a self-extracting archive produced by Wise
InstallBuilder. It will install all of the program-related files
in the directory of your choosing, plus two required system
files in \WINDOWS\SYSTEM (or equivalent).

1.	If you do not already have the files necessary to run
Visual Basic 6.0 programs, you must first download them from
the Internet. The files (collectively known as Visual Basic
6.0 Service Pack 3), are encased in a ZIP file, available
from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp
?ReleaseID=12704&LangID=20&LangDIR=en-us&OpSysID=9800&
Search=Product&Value=729&Show=Alpha&Start=&Page=0)
(this link takes you direcytly to the download page; you
can also download this file during the Stations setup process)

	My apologies for the inconvenience--there are
complications involved with distributing VB runtime files.
There is a SETUP program contained within the Visual Basic
6.0 Service Pack 3 which will automatically install the
necessary files in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory
(installs only newer versions of the files).

	To run the setup program once you download it, create
a temporary directory to receive the Visual Basic Service
Pack 3 files.  From DOS:

	md \vb6temp
	cd \vb6temp
	vbrun60sp3

From Win95:

	a.	Open Windows Explorer
	b.	Create a new folder (e.g., vb6temp)
	c.	Double Click the self-extracting program
		vbrun60sp3.exe
	d.	Double Click the file SETUP.EXE or use the Control
		Panels Install New Software program.

3.	Create a temp directory for the the Stations setup program (e.g., C:\StationsTMP).
4.	Unzip the file Statns60.ZIP into this directory.
5.	Double-click the file SETUP.EXE or use the Control Panels Install New Software
	feature.
