This version is for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4 (SP 3+), 2000 or XP. A version for Win 3.1/3.11 is also available and is included with purchase.

INSTALLING SecurDesk!
------------------------------

Before you can begin using SecurDesk! you must run its
Setup program from Windows. In most cases you cannot simply copy
the software onto your hard drive. The files on the CursorArts
distribution disks are stored in a special compressed form to
save space. The Setup program is the only way to insure that
SecurDesk! is properly unpacked and installed. To install
SecurDesk!, follow the steps below:

1.  Start Windows.

2.  If you received SecurDesk! on diskette or CD, place it into
    your drive now.
        - If you downloaded SecurDesk! in archived (zip) format,
          use a utility such as ZipWrangler, PKUNZIP or Winzip
          to uncompress the files to a working directory on
          your hard disk.
        - If you downloaded SecurDesk! in a self-extracting
          EXE program, run that program to extract the install
          files.

3.  Select "Run..." from the "Start" menu.

4.  In the "Command Line" field enter one of the following:

      -  If you placed the SecurDesk! diskette into drive
         A:, type: A:\SETUP

      -  If you are running from a CD, browse to the CD drive
         and run the SETUP.EXE program

      -  If you downloaded SecurDesk!, browse to the drive
         where you uncompressed SecurDesk!'s install files,
         and choose the SETUP.EXE file

5.  Follow the instructions on the screen.

UNINSTALLING / REMOVING FROM YOUR SYSTEM
----------------------------------------
If you decide that you no longer wish to use SecurDesk!, or if you
decide not to use SecurDesk! beyond the 30-day evaluation period,
you need only to log on as the Administrator, then either go to the
Control Panel's "Add/Remove Programs" function, or use the
UNINSTAL.EXE program placed in SecurDesk!'s directory folder to
remove its files from your system.

To remove any shortcuts to SecurDesk! which you may have placed on
your Windows desktop, simply delete these by highlighting the link
icon and pressing your Delete key. To remove shortcuts on the
Windows Start menu, use your file manager to delete the SECUREDESK
directory folder which is located inside the
\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS folder.

period of up to 30 days before registering, subject to the license below.
