Program Description:
Golf Master is designed for individual golfers or those who often play in regular foursomes. A maximum of 12 players and up to 4 groups (2-somes, 3-somes, 4-somes) is allowed per file. (Any number of files may be initiated.) Although sorts and scorekeeping is provided for the total of 12, the idea is to configure for two foursomes and leave the balance for up to four spare players.

Once scores have been entered, both gross and net sorts may be consecutively made for seven of the most popular competitions. These may be displayed (totals) or printed (with hole scores). Sorting may be done individually for the entire field, for group totals, or for players exclusively within groups. A gross sort printout also shows the average hole scores and the total number of pars, birdies, etc. Scores may be cleared after each round of golf with Gross and net score totals saved for up to 26 games (seasonal competition).

Handicap indexes may be entered and/or the program may be configured to calculate and display indexes and handicaps for the last 20 games (per USGA/RCGA rulings). 9 and 18 hole games are supported, but if configured to calculate indexes, these must be kept in separate files.

Statistics may also be entered and displayed graphically for an immediate visual assessment of progress over the last 20 games. This function also automatically displays differentials.
