Introducing WinPage Express
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Use WinPage Express to send messages to pagers. Store pager
addresses in your existing MAPI address book.
WinPage Express is free program and you can copy it to as
many friends as you want.
The program is still very simple and has just a few features.
I'm relying on you - the users - to tell me what new features
would you want to see in the up comming versions.
How to Install
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Extract the zip file wpex10b.zip to a temporary directory.
Then start the installation by running the program setup.exe
in the temporary directory. After the installation, you can
delete the temporary directory.

Send Messages to Pagers
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With your PC, you can send text messages to pagers. WinPage
Express uses your modem to send the message to the paging
company, which will in turn send the wireless message to the
pager.
TAPI Support
~~~~~~~~~~~~
WinPage Express use the Telephony Application Programming
Interface to communicated with your modem. Therefore, as long
as your modem in installed to your systems, WinPage Express
will know how to use it, no setting up necessary.

MAPI Support
~~~~~~~~~~~~
WinPage Express allows users to store pager address in their
Windows Address Book. Once they are entered, Address Book entries
can be paged by simply clicking on them.
Internet Address Book Support
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now WinPage Express supports the Internet Address Book, allowing users
to share their address book with Outlook 98 and Outlook Express.

Paging Protocol Support
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
WinPage Express supports the IXO/TAP and SNPP paging protocol to
communicate with the paging companies. New protocols can be installed
by installing drivers (which are ActiveX controls with a standard
interface) to the WinPage Express.
Other installable protocols in works:
  TNPP
  STD
KNOWN PROBLEMS AND BUGS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The following lists the problems that I've come across in the program
but haven't caught and fixed the bug yet:

- BugRef: 1002
  If the tutorial help window is closed by the user, a "zombie"
  winhelp32 process is stuck in the system. From then onwards,
  WinPage Express would not be able to start another tutorial
  session.
  Workaround:
  Call up the Task manager and terminate the winhelp32 process.

SPECIAL THANKS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wouldn't be able to finish this program without the help from the
following people:
- My wife, Queenia, who waited for me for all the late nights and help
  me test the programs. Her commnets made the program much more user
  oriented and friendly. Thanks!
- My Brother, Sultan, who's been my mentor since I was a kid. And he
  still is and will always be. Thanks!
Here is a list of people help me test and track down bugs:
  Ken Root (Thanks!)
There are many other people I want to thank too, but this list is just
not long enough. (Thanks, guys!)
