System Requirements
===================
IBM compatible PC
Pentium Class Processor
Windows 95/98/ME

NB: This program will NOT run under Windows NT.

Full Description
================
Many people have a large number of programs running in the background on
their machines (in the system tray for example), and although individually
most of these programs do not take up much in the way of memory and CPU
cycles, combined they may have a much larger impact on available system
resources.

Many games require all the system resources they can get, and having an
abundance of programs active which are not necessary when running such an
application can seriously degrade its performance - especially on older or
lower specification machines.

In its Processes pane, Game Launchpad lists all processes running (except
those which are absolutely required for Windows to run), including those
not listed in the Close Program dialog box.

Game Launchpad is also able to Maximise Physical Memory. This feature
flushes as much of the physical memory as possible out to the page file,
leaving more Physical RAM available for smoother performance during your
games.

Game Launchpad can also launch an application of your choice right after
closing down any processes you specify for termination, just fill in the
details in the Launch pane prior to pressing the OK button.

For often used programs and settings you can create a preset, which
stores all information about what processes to keep or close, the method to
use for terminating these processes, and what (if any) program to launch
afterwards. Facilities for creating and manipulating presets can be found
in the Presets pane.

The System Monitor pane allows you to view the current resource usage on
your PC.
