Limitations

- Limitation for non-CP850/CP1252 operating systems:

Starting with version 1.41 UserDir Backup uses a hidden batch-file
to execute ARJ or PKZIP. Therefore it will not work if the paths
to your User-/Backup-Directories contain high ASCII characters.
This limitation does not exist with WinRAR.

Limitations with ARJ < v2.70:

ARJ v2.60 does not support folder-names with spaces in the requi-
red command-lines. Therefore you have to convert User- and Backup-
Directory strings with spaces to DOS-format manual.

 Examples:
  "C:\Program Files\Palm" must be changed to: "C:\Progra~1\Palm"
"C:\Apps\Palm Desktop" must be changed to: "C:\Apps\PalmDe~1"

Limitations with WinRAR < v2.60:

 WinRAR v2.50 crashes while creating password-protected *.zip-ar-
chives. The crash occurs immediately after the archives have been
finished. The archives seem to be intact.
It is also not allowed to set a "Default folder for archives" un-
der "Options / Settings... / Compression" in WinRAR v2.50, because
this folder will be added to the path of your Backup-Directory and
 this double-path cannot be found.

Limitations with WinRAR v2.7x:

WinRAR v2.7x doesn't store relative paths for *.zip-archives,
therefore it is impossible for UserDir Backup to restore the com-
 plete user-directory.
