baserunner version 2.0
Copyright (c) 1998-99 baserunner Software (Mark Glover)

Thank you for evaluating baserunner.

baserunner is a CGI program for Windows-based web servers
that provides tools for creating dynamic web applications
the can access standard dbf format databases. Using the program your
users can display, query, enter, and edit data. baserunner should run
under any Windows server that supports standard CGI's.

This is a fully-functional, evaluation version of baserunner. The
evaluation version adds a link to the baserunner homepage to its
output. Please see the baseruner documentation for details on
licensing the program. The price is US$59.95.

Two executables are included with this installation one that supports
FoxPro format (*.fpt) memo fieldes and one that supports dBase format
(*.dbt) memo fields. The installation will ask you which executatble
you wish to install on your system. Visual dBase uses yet another memo
field format. If you require that support, you may download a copy of
executable from baserunner.com.

The executable you choose will be installed as baserun.exe. The
installation program is zip compatible, if you would prefer to get the
programs and support files out yourself (and configure the application
by hand). If you later install a different version of baserunner, you
must delete the session database files from the previous installation.

The installation program assumes that you have a web server running
and configured for local access (i.e. 127.0.0.1). It will install
the executable programs, the documentation, and an example
application.

To install baserunner, simply run basernnr.exe. The installation
program makes no changes to your registry or your configuration files.

To uninstall baserunner, all you need to do is delete the executable and
the \baserunner directory.
