   Pentium Pro recommended)
 - Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98 or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
 - 4 MB application RAM
 - 1 MB hard disk space
 - Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later.
 - SMTP or Windows Messaging Subsystem email such as, but not limited to
   Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Eudora, Yahoo,
   America Online.

KNOWN PROBLEMS AND ISSUES
=========================
- New scheduled items submitted while the View Schedule screen is
  displayed will not be scheduled until after the View Schedule
  screen is closed. The preferred way is to close the View
  Schedule screen before selecting PushPage from the Internet Explorer
  Tools menu.

- INSTALLATION ISSUES
  ===================

Installer for Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0-
The PushPage installer will install the following software:

- APPSCHED.EXE, the PushPage Scheduler. The installer creates a shortcut
  in the Startup folder so the Scheduler is run on system startup. The
  scheduler creates a taskbar icon on the system taskbar and dispatches
  other modules according to schedule.
- PUSHPAGE.EXE, the module that access a web page and creates and queues a
  mail message with text extracted from that page.
- PP2SMTP.DLL, email support for SMTP
- PP2MAPIX.DLL, email for Windows Message Subsystem (Extended MAPI).
- PP2MAPI.DLL, email support for Simple MAPI.
- APPSCHUI.DLL, which handles most of the user interactions with the
  scheduling database
- APPSCHEN.DLL, strings and other language dependent resources
- SNAPPAGE.DLL, an Internet Explorer add-in that determines the portion
  of web page text that will be sent
- URL2TEXT.DLL, a module that extracts text from a web page.
- REMINDME.EXE, a utility program for creating and scheduling your own HTML
  reminder messages.

Dial-Up Networking -
If you use a dial-up connection to access the Internet you should create
and test a Dial-Up Networking connection prior to installing this product.
You should also verify the Properties of the connection and Configure the
modem to Disconnect a call if idle after no less than 5 minutes.

Pager or Mobile Phone Internet Mail Address -
When the computer restarts after installation, you will be presented with
the PushPage configuration screen. You will need to supply an email address
for your pager or mobile phone. You may need to contact your service
provider for such an address. Typically, the address is of the form:
        <pager or mobile phone #>@serviceprovider.com
If your service provider does not support email dispatching (the ability to
send messages via internet email), you will not be able to use this product.

Using Windows Messaging Subystem mail systems other than Outlook -
PushPage uses SMTP or the Windows Messaging Subsystem (also known as MAPI)
to send messages. If you are using a MAPI mail system other than Outlook
you may need to create a profile before installing PushPage by using the
Mail icon in the Control Panel.

 - WEB BROWSER ISSUES
   ==================

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.00 does not support the loading of more than
one Browser Helper Object, a interface used by SNAPPAGE.DLL to access the
content of a web page. This was fixed in a Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01
update. However, the build number for this update shows as 5.00.3501.0106.

SNAPPAGE may not always extract the expected text from the web page. This
may be due to text being generated as a bitmap instead of text, or custom
display code in the web page.

 - GENERAL ISSUES
   ==============

Text Sent Does Not Match Text Captured - Some web pages require input
from a previous page to determine its contents. These pages will not
be sent properly

Cookies - Deletion or modification of cookies may cause PUSHPAGE to not
be able to access the web page or not retrieve the expected contents
of the page.

Auto-Disconnect - You should watch the computer send the first message
to your pager or mobile phone. You may see the "Auto-Disconnect" feature
appear on screen.  Disable Auto-Disconnect.

BASIC USAGE
===========

To use PushPage, run Internet Explorer, navigate to a web page and select
PushPage from the Tools menu. You will then be presented with the text
extracted from that page. You may also use your mouse to select a portion
of the page before selecting PushPage from the Tools menu. PushPage will
extract text from the selected area.

If you approve of the text selected, you will then be presented with the
scheduling screen. Select the scheduling interval or time. The following
options are available:

        Every N minutes
        Every N hours
        Every N days at hh:mm
        Every N weeks at hh:mm

        On the 1st (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...) of the month at hh:mm
        On the 2nd (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...) of the month at hh:mm
        On the 3rd (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...) of the month at hh:mm
        On the 4th (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...) of the month at hh:mm
        On the 5th (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...) of the month at hh:mm
        On the last (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday...) of the month at hh:mm

        On the (1st, 2nd, 3rd...) day of the month at hh:mm
        On the last day of the month at hh:mm

In addition you may use scheduler not to not send the page on certain days
of the week or months of the year.

If you are scheduling every N minutes or hours, you may also instruct the
scheduler to only send the page during a particular range of dates or times.

To modify, delete or disable a scheduled page, right click on the taskbar
icon and select View Schedule...

TROUBLESHOOTING
===============

- Message not received
  ====================
  The following conditions may result in the message not being received

  - Incorrect email address for pager or mobile phone. Verify that you
    have the correct address. A good way to test this is to send a
    message manually using your mail client.

  - Connection to Internet failed. If you are using a dial-up connection
    to the internet and a connection to the internet cannot be established,
    the scheduler will not dispatch the message.

  - Connection to mail server failed. If for some reason the mail server
    connection fails, the scheduler will not dispatch the message.

  - Pager or mobile phone out of range for too long. If your pager or
    mobile phone cannot be reached by your service provider, your service
    provider may store the message and try to send it every hour or so
    and will eventually give up. This may result in a message showing
    up later than expected or not at all.

  - Schedule is not set up correctly. If you specified a time to send
    a page, verify that the computer's clock is correct.

- Other Common Scheduling Mistakes
  ================================

  - Incorrect AM/PM selection. Verify that you have chosen the AM/PM of
    the times correctly. Remember that Midnight is 12:00 AM and Noon is
    12:00 PM

  - Conflicts between date ranges and days of the week. If you've
    specified a Start and End date and set up the schedule not to run
    on certain days of the week, make sure the you've set them such
    that there is a valid day on which to run the scheduled item
