1/Short introduction
  - Compatible with any PABX. Call Detail Record format can be defined on-fly.

  - Support almost Telephone charge schema (I am not sure my application can
support all telephone charge scheme in the world, but so far, I known the call
charge scheme of 7 Telephone Company, my application can support all that 7
    call charge schemes)

  - Up to the end of 2003, more than 90 companies are using.

  - Support hotel business, one bill including Telephone sub-bill, Room sub-bill
    and any guest services.

2/Installation
  - Unzip the file you just download. There are three sub-folders inside. Folder
named "Docs" contains two User-Manuals, one for Hotel, the other one for
company, who only wants to use Pabx billing feature only. Folder "ScreenShots"
contains a medium screenshot of the application, and its zoop-out image. Folder
"Setup" contains the setup package of the application.

  - The application requires Ms Access 2000 runtime to run. You should update
Office Service Pack 1, 2, 3. At least Office Service Pack 2 has to be
    updated.

  - Support OS: WinMe, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003.

Best practice: You can read User-Manual later to know how to install the
application on your existing PC. I would show you here one case, you can
  follow to install (100% successfully):
  - Install Win2k, update service pack (2 or later)

  - Install Ms Office 2000, remember to select MS Access.

  - Update Ms Office Service Pack, at least you have update Ms Office Service
Pack 2 ( at the time I review this document there is Ms Office Service Pack
3). You can download Ms Service Pack from Microsoft website.

  - Click on Setup.exe to install this application.

  - After finising the installation, you will find "PBS & PMS" program group, under
this program group, you will find "StartApp", click on this shortcut to launch
    the application.

3/Log on account
After fresh installation, you can log on to the application by using one of
  the following accounts:

  Username/Password = PabxAdmin/PabxAdmin
  or
  Usernaem/Password =	HotelierAdmin/HotelierAdmin

You can change password later or create more account.

4/Working Modes
  - Working Mode is the switch allowing you to change the way the application
    work to meet your demand.

  - The first time after you log on, you are requested to input your information
and select the right Working Mode for you.

TQ Pabx Billing System/TQ Hotel Management System supports 7 Working Modes,
  which are as follows:

  (1). Distributor
  (2). Distributor Extension
  (3). Master
  (4). Semi-Master
  (5). Slave
(6). Hotel Master (The same with Master, but show up some Hotel special
functions and hide some unnecessary forms)
(7). Hotel Slave (The same with Slave, but show up some Hotel special
functions and hide some unnecessary forms)

You should read User-Manual for detail what is difference between the Working
  Modes.

For un-patient people, below is short hint:

  Case 1:
You have single computer connected to your PABX via serial port. You would
like to do all the tasks of telephone billing on this machine only. You
   should choose "Master".

  Case 2:
You have a networked computer connected to your PABX. You would want this PC
to receive and process the call data sent from PABX. But you prefer making
the telephone bills on another networked machine for more convenience. You
should choose Master for the networked PC which is directly connected
directly to the PABX. You may install TQ Pabx Billing System/TQ Hotel
Management System on another networked PCs where you want to remotely make the
telephone bill and then choose Slave for Working Mode. For detail information
how to connect the Slave to Master to get call data, look at User Manual.

If you are Hotel owner, you can select "Hotel Master" for Case 1 or "Hotel
Slave" for Case 2. Only the interface is changed. You will have hotel-specific
   function like Room, Guest, RoomRack...

5/The must minimum steps to configure TQ Pabx Billing System/TQ Hotel Management
  System to work

  a. Configure the serial port.

or crossed-over cable depends on the serial port on your PABX is DTE (data
terminal equipment) or DCE (data communication equipment). For almost the
case, the manual of your PABX has valued information about the cable wire
map for transmitting Call Detailed Record to the PC.

     - Open "Serial Port Settings" form to set the PC serial port. Note that
the setting here will be used instead of the default setting of Ms Windows

Detail Record made by extension number from 100 to 110 at the time from
    1-Dec-2003 to 10-Dec-2003.

    extension from 100 to 110

  - Click on Import Call Detail Record (the second icon on the toolbar), on the
form opened, click on "Import..." button to select CDRSample.txt. You will
see the call appeared on screen with price and destination. Remember this is
sample CDR, call charge calculated basing on built-in Telephone Tariff of
Viet Nam Post and Telecom state company.

  - Open Telephone Bill Master or Hotel Bill Master to make some test telephone bill.
Remember to set the time frame for the bill back to 1-Dec-2003 to 10-Dec-2003.

Think above 4 steps will give you the first idea about the application.

  - You should read User Manual for detail information of Telephone Tariff. When you
understand how to input correctly your own Telephone Tariff, you should delete
    the built-in one.

  - You can go to Application Tool>>Application Settings, move to the first page
named "CDR Settings" to practically change the CDR format, then go to the
last page named "Sample CDR Creator" to create the sample CDR file basing on
your defined CDR format. Now you can repeat 3 steps mentioned above with
your own CDR test sample. You can use text editor like Notepad to change
directly the content in CDRSample, re-import it, there are some errors
appeared. Open Importlog.txt in the installed directory to see detail error
    and hint.

7/License

totalquality@hcm.fpt.vn . I will grant you license free of charge.

  - Why if you are in Viet Nam, I can't grant you license free of charge?
Because in Viet Nam, I have 4 distributors. My distributors provide
